I’ve seen your heart Anissa, and you are one of the angels on earth I so often speak of.
I see you constantly giving of your time, and service to others and I know it must be appreciated, and also know how much it means to you, to be in a position to give back…so freely and honestly.
What i’m most thankful for is my daughter Steffiann, she was born with Cerebral Palsy, they told me she would not live past 7yrs she is now 21yrs old, and a God bless, a smile from her makes my day, wouldn’t give her up for the world, love her to death. So now you see why i’m thankful and am blessed.
what am most thankful for is my children , i am a single mom with 5 kids and its not easy looking after them , there are times that they go to bed without food but we are pulling through, i am thankful each day for them , they are my strength and no matter what i would never dream of being without them

Being a Jamaican i think it is very good when companies, organisations and societies can give back to their community not because they have to but because they see it as a good deed which warms there hearts. I am thank for Ashanti Frater my ten year old daughter, she suffers from enlarged adonides causing her to breath heavy (sounds more like snoring whether asleep or awake), this has left her with breathing problems like bronchitis and various allergy problems.. she was to have done an minor operation from the age of three to have the adonides and tonsils removed but was put on a waiting list.. being a single mother no father around i couldn’t afford to go some where private … she also has learning disabilities which i’m still seeking advice about…. She always know’s what to say to put a smile on my face without her i don’t know where i would be, i continue to love her and ask God to continue to shower his blessing on her….
Tricia I’m so feeling your pain right now because at the age of five my daughter suffered the same condition and almost died twice while she sleeps because she had stop breathing. No one may believe but I could not sleep as long as she was because I feared that I would wake up and she’d be gone. I used the sounds she make to determine if she was safe. when I don’t hear the sounds I have to reach her quickly to turn her over or resuscitate her cause sometimes she turns over and the fall back in her throat and blocks her breathing. I went through the same dilemma of being placed on a waiting list by the hospital but God Blessed us that we had health insurance and they covered that service at the time so we could go to a private hospital otherwise I fear she would have died because it can be tiresome to watch her all the time. I will pray for a solution for you because I know what you must be going through right now. Pray hard my dear and watch her closely. All the best
Thanks everyone for the kind words and comments. It really means a lot to give back. Our past giveaways have included Kindles and iPads, but we have discovered that while those are great….so many are in need of dental services and desperately want them but can not afford them.

I am thankful for memorable moments with family that will last a life time, for friends, good health, God’s grace which allows me to experience everyday, for the opportunity to make a difference in miniscule ways.
I am so thanking God everyday for the Blessings he gave us and for the fact that she did the surgery at seven and is doing great with her life and school.
I am most thankful and grateful that I do not live in a country where there is famine and war and disasters everyday,I am also most grateful to live in a country where there is brilliant sunshine all year round. Its lush green fields and the ambience and culture of its people makes it one of the most beautiful places on earth. I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else in the whole world! I am so thankful that I was born a Jamaican. Little things like these are what I am most thankful for. Out of Many we are One. ONE LOVE!!!!
I feel like im in the right place because so very often as a young person it’s hard to find something uplifting on the internet. I feel like im with my family and I’m loved. Thank you all for sharing your stories and I really appreciate them. Dr. Holmes you have been doing a great job and continue with the good works. I too wish that someday i will have the most beautiful smile that would just lighten up the entire world.
